Meet the founder

Hi, I’m Cat 👋🏼 Creator, technologist, and Stanford STS alum obsessed with how tech can amplify our humanity, rather than replace it.

In 2023, I hacked a Bluetooth antenna into a pink landline phone simply because taking calls while twirling my finger a curly cord made me smile. Two years later, I posted a single video on @askcatgpt, and over 1,000 people bought one in 72 hours. That’s when I realized people weren’t craving a phone, but a feeling. In that moment, Physical Phones was born: a creator-led, community-built brand dedicated to using technology to strengthen real human connection.

Built on the Internet

Physical Phones didn’t start in a boardroom, it started online. A simple prototype demo went viral, garnering 10M views across platforms and drawing thousands of people who wanted less screen time and more joy.
