The Rotary

I LOVE MY PHYSICAL PHONE! It is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to separate myself from my iPhone-the constant handling of and messing with it, but did not want to give it up all together. The set up is so incredibly easy and to lift the handle and hear a dial tone just brings a huge smile to my face every time. I plan to buy at least 1 more-maybe 2 as your smartphone can pair with up to 5 Physical Phones. And my grandkids love it.

If you are on your cellphone and go to FB or IG you hear a dialtone on the physical phone. You thwn have to pick up the receiver and put it down to hang it up

Love it!! We got another line so we have that as our home phone and we turn our phones off soon as we get home. So much better less phone time more family time!

It's okay. Id hoped it would be an actual rotary but it's pidh button. The sound is good. Tricky to figure out at first

My mother absolutely loves it! No more forgetting her phone is on vibrate when she is at home.

Works like a real telephone and amazing quality! I can hear a caller clearly and they can hear me very well and it rings like a real telephone. I also love that its portable, so i can talk a call anywhere in my home!

Love it worth the money!

This phone is really great and is helping me with my goal of getting off my cell phone. It works very well- sound, quality, function. The quality of the materials are great as well. It would be 5 stars if it knew when to disconnect from Bluetooth. If I get off a call and go to send a text let’s say and I want to use voice to text, it is still connected to the physical phone and I have to remove Bluetooth. And then I’d have to reconnect it if I want to get my next call on the physical phone. This is a small inconvenience, but if your phone used all day and evening like mine is, it becomes a bit tedious. Would definitely purchase again though.

Love my Rotary Physical Phone, connected to bluetooth easily. I am not a fan of talking on my cellphone, The Physical Phone is way more comfortable to me when making a call.

Awesome addition to my analog routine! I can totally toss the cellphone in a drawer and walk away knowing if someone needs me they can call and I’ll be focused on the conversation!

Awesome Product

The quality and the look are amazing! There are a bit of functionality features I don’t love which is why I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars. (For example this week it hasn’t rang and I can’t tell if it’s because of the battery, that my phone is on silent, DND, or that the Bluetooth is disconnected) Other than that it’s amazing!

As people who constantly lose their phones and are trying to stay off our phones more - we cannot give enough thanks to physical phones! We’ve only had it a week but love that we don’t have to find said lost phone or sit and scroll on phones once we hang up the phone.

My grown daughter absolutely loves her phone.

I realize that I thought this would have the feel and weight of telephone(s) of my youth; but it does not. It feels very plasticky. I'm not even complaining just explaining my tactile experience with it.

Now I have to get used to using it. Like right this second I am speaking on my cell; it is propped up against something, but the phone is right there behind me looking pretty.

Perhaps when we move (soon) I am looking forward to incorporating it into my Ladie Lair of beauty and femininity.

2.75 stars - I want to love this product so badly! I think for me the issue with audio hijacking is just too much. I would understand if I only had to change the sound output once every time I went to use my media, like Youtube, Spotify, etc., but I often have to change it multiple times in one "session". I'm an audiobook listener, and every time I start listening to my book, I manually select my iPhone or headphones for audio output, and within a one-hour span I will have to reselect it again 3-4 times because in the middle of a sentence the audio will switch to my Rotary Physical Phone. 3-4 times per hour!! Extremely confusing when trying to follow a book. This happens with anything on your phone that makes sound - videos, music, voicemails, text notifications, etc. Very frustrating and impossible to fix.

Like other reviewers, I have also been told that I am super quiet when I use my Physical Phone for phone calls. I have trouble adjusting the volume of the other caller's voice using the # button on my end, as well. And one time while I was on a call, the audio transferred to my iPhone, which was in another room.

Also, it weirdly stopped working (wouldn't even be recognized as a bluetooth device) for about a week so I reached out to the Physical Phones team, and even though they never responded (it's a small team so I totally understand) it started working again, so I guess everything is fine? Lol.

I know future iterations of this product will be awesome! Unfortunately for me (in my experience only), this first iteration has turned out to be glitchy and actually causes me to pick up my iPhone more frequently to sort out issues with the rotary phone. It is beautiful, though, and feels very special.

As advertised! Easy to set up, so helpful to have phone away but still get calls. Also lets my kids call family without screens!

I love this phone! It is so stylish and easy to use! I have gotten so many comments - all of them good - from anyone and everyone who sees it. It makes me so happy🎉

It was a Christmas gift from my mom and I love it! I especially love that nostalgic feeling when I hear the phone ring.

Overall, the phone is great! My only reason for leaving 4 stars and not 5 is that I’ve had folks tell me I’m much softer when speaking through the Physical Phone versus my cell, which has only really affected a few hard of hearing friends and family phone calls. It must be something to do with the Bluetooth. I do love the design and that it’s chargeable and light enough to carry around if I want to. It has helped with me doomscrolling once I finish a call and it’s helped me get excited about calling more people and keeping in touch.

Phone works very well. I misunderstood and thought it could be used as an either/or option. Doesn't seem to be the case. If you connect it to Bluetooth it then becomes your ONLY connection for phone calls & defaults as speaker for phone apps (youtube etc ... you can change this is audio settings). Haven't been able to make calls using "contacts" but I think that's user error (phone permissions). As an "instead" of option it's quite workabl & nostalgic.

It's beautiful and works so well. I love having it in my home and using a physical phone to call people. The only thing that can get frustrating is not being able to use voice to text/siri as I go about my day as everything is routed through the Physical Phone. It would be so nice to be able to have ONLY phone calls go through the physical phone, but I'm not sure how that would be possible. I try to just not be on my phone while I have the Physical Phone connected anyway which is good for me :)
